- You'll need a visa or Australia Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) for your visit. All foreigners entering Australia are required to obtain visas. In addition, upon leaving Australia you must pay $55 AUD cash (as of March 2013) to its Customs and Border agents.
- One mission weekly (Feb-Nov) normally arrives Monday and leaves Wednesday. Arriving missions start at Travis AFB CA, then JB Pearl Harbor-Hickam HI to Andersen AFB Guam to Richmond. Same route for departing mission.
- Signup by AMC Form 140 or email prior to roll call
- Roll Call, it is done by phone on Tuesday the week you wish to leave to compete for a seat
- Customs are one longer on the base at Richmond but they are on base for arrivals. For departures, if customs does not arrive prior to manifesting PAX will not be allowed to depart.
- If you are not stationed in Australia there is a $70 departure tax to leave Australia (not for inbound).

Signup procedure at Richmond
- For the (almost every week) flight to CONUS through Hawaii) call the Pax folks after 1400-1500 on Tuesday and provide your info (passport numbers, weights, bags, etc). You'll be asked to show up Wed morn at 0800 for further processing for the departure later that morning.
