Walk in the Bark   owner, Aisling Doyle (pronounced “Ashling”), has been working in the dog care business since 2003. Aisling moved to Portland in the Fall of 2003 after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill. Intent on utilizing her degree toward a life of social work, her career took an unexpected turn and went to the dogs. In 2004, Aisling took what was intended to be a short term job at a dog daycare where she discovered she had a knack and a passion for working with dogs. Quite unexpectedly, she had found her calling. In late 2007 Walk in the Bark was created and the rest is history!

Aisling and her husband Aaron have three dogs, two cats and four chickens. While she’s not walking dogs, Aisling spends her time knitting, sewing and attempting to learn as many crafts as possible.
